The challenge...
"I'd smoked for a number of years, but on and off. I've never been a continuous year-after-year smoker. I think sometimes I found myself in a stressful situation and I would go for a cigarette which would calm me down. The thing that stopped me from quitting earlier was possibly the situation I was in, workwise and in my private life. It was just the wrong time."
Our support...
"What made me decide to quit was various reasons, actually. One being my health, which is the most important. Secondly, the cost. And the thing I love not having around me anymore is the smell.
"What surprised me was how consistent they are. They call me every week to check that I'm okay. Do I have any problems? Do I have enough medication? They're always there, and that, I think, is inspiring.
"The coaches make me feel very proud actually. They're terribly encouraging, telling me I should be proud of myself and to keep going."
I think I'm most proud that I've stuck to this. I was determined that I was not going to let this fail, and it hasn't, and it will continue. I'm forever grateful for what this team have done for me. Anyone who wanted to quit smoking, I would actually have no hesitation in recommending the Reed Partnership to them. This company have been amazing to me, and if it can work for me, it can work for you.
What happened...
Since quitting smoking, Allan has experienced significant improvements in both his health and daily life.
"Since I've quit smoking, everything feels different, particularly my health and my breathing. Everything feels great at the moment.
"What's wonderful is that I don't wake up in the morning, make a cup of coffee, go out onto my balcony and light a cigarette. That's great.
