  • Move More was a ‘lifesaver’ for Amanda

  • More energy and motivation

  • Now exercising at home too

The challenge...

As a mother of four children, two of whom have autism, Amanda wanted to get fitter and to do something for herself, so she self-referred on a Reed Wellbeing Move More course.

Our support...

With encouragement and support from Katie, her Health Coach who ran the classes, Amanda jumped straight into the circuit class, joining in all the exercises and chatting to other regulars. She has great positive energy and can usually be found dancing along to the music tracks whilst "resting" in between exercises.

This class has been a lifesaver for me - a reason to get out of the house and not feel guilty. It’s encouraged me to try and fit more exercise into my life during the rest of the week and I've even bought some resistance bands to help me.

What happened...

Amanda enjoyed the classes, saying they helped her channel her frustrations and energy into doing something positive - just for her. She said the class was a friendly, happy and non-judgemental place, with everyone working towards the same goal of moving more and getting fitter and healthier.

She appreciated the support, advice and encouragement given by the class instructor, who she found to be friendly, professional and caring.

Amanda said of the class, “I have really enjoyed it and wish I could attend forever!”
